Handlers from the Alberta Birds of Prey Foundation and a gaggle of their feathered friends will join your function for a few hours, allowing your group a very personal encounter with these often-elusive predators. Species such as the endangered burrowing owl, the noble golden eagle, the adaptable American kestrel and the wily turkey vulture are touchable and quite content to stare back at you while perched on your arm. There’s scarcely another opportunity like this elsewhere in the world! This exhibit helps to raise critical funds for the non-profit Alberta Birds of Prey Foundation, which rehabilitates injured and abandoned birds and releases them back into the wild. |
