  An Evening with Natalie MacMaster, February 8  
  Cape Breton fiddling sensation Natalie MacMaster brings her unique twist on traditional maritime music to the Banff Centre. By adopting aspects of pop, jazz and world music, MacMaster creates foot-tapping fiddle music and touching ballads, while incorporating world-class step dancing. MacMaster will be performing in the Eric Harvie Theatre at 8 p.m. Tickets are $29.  
 
  Two Planks and a Passion Theatre Company – Halo, February 13  
  Written by playwright Josh MacDonald and produced by Nova Scotia's renowned Two Planks and a Passion Theatre Company, the comedy/tragedy Halo features a cast of seven. In it, residents of Nedley, Nova Scotia are challenged to ask difficult questions about faith, life and love when Jesus’ image appears on the side of a Tim Horton's restaurant. The play starts at 8 p.m. in the Margaret Greenham Theatre. Tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for students and seniors.  
 
  Bluebird North: Where Writers Sing and Tell, February 15  
  Presented by the Songwriters Association of Canada, Bluebird North is an intimate evening of songs and stories featuring some of this country's finest new and recognized singer-songwriters. Hosted by Shari Ulrich and Blair Packham, the line-up for this concert includes: Lynn Miles, Russell De Carle of Prairie Oyster, Joel Kroeker, Tal Bachman, Haydain Neale (Jacksoul) and Sue Foley. Show starts at 8 p.m. in the Margaret Greenham Theatre. Tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for students and seniors.  
 
  Roy Kiyooka - Accidental Tourist, January 17 to March 21  
  This exhibition includes early audio soundscapes, film and video works as well as slide installations, sequential photographic works and photo albums examining a large but lesser known period of this contemporary artist's practice from 1969 to his death in 1994. Held in the Walter Phillips Gallery, the show is free Tuesdays through Sundays from 12-5 p.m. and Thursdays 12-9 p.m.  
 
  Capture: Photographic Works from the Permanent Collection – Feb. 13-April 7  
  “Capture” features photographs from an original seven artists featured by the Banff Centre’s permanent collection. Since it first purchased over 150 pieces from those artists in 1978, the centre has continued to develop its collection with a strong photographic base. Located in the Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Building, this free exhibit includes "The Banff Purchase" alongside seven other works that have entered the collections since.
